Reaching the Nations for Christ
“Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.” (Psalm 96:3)
This section focuses on God’s heart for the world. We highlight the importance of missions, stories of missionaries past and present, updates from the mission field we toil in. Also, practical ways to get involved, and special emphasis on reaching various people groups — especially across Asia. You will find vision, prayer resources, sending opportunities, and encouragement to play your part in fulfilling the Great Commission.
News Letters from Thailand Missions by Scott Noble
December, January, and February Prison Ministry 2026
In December we went to seven Thai prisons. In two of these prisons there were many Christians in our audience—in each place we had anywhere from 40-100 prisoners in attendance. For the Christians we shared messages to encourage them and challenge them to share the gospel with their fellow prisoners, and we also take questions to give them biblical answers. In three of these prisons the audience was mixed, with some Christians and some unbelievers, so we gave messages accordingly. And, in two of the audiences, almost no one was a believer.

Learning Languages
Since Babel, learning other languages has been a challenge for people all over the world. For me, I grew up in Germany from about age 6-11, so as a child that was not “easy” but “pretty easy” compared to an adult trying to tackle German. We spoke English at home, and initially I went to a British military school in Germany for one term and picked up a British accent. That wore off, and I got back to an American accent after going to a German school for several years. Then, I went to Costa Rica on a mission trip in high school for two months, but didn’t pick up much Spanish, except some basic phrases. I had a year of Greek in college (but it was Greek to me and to my professor), and then studied two more years of Greek during covid with our boys, and picked up much more than in college.

Seven Christian Prison Concerts in March and April
At the end of March we drove with Isaiah near Bangkok, and ran with him in a 10K run, and then sent him to the airport to go to a Bible College in Malawi for two months (it was the Thai summer break time). He’s now back in Thailand. His English is pretty good (Isaiah came to stay with us when he was 9 years old and could not speak English at all, and Thai just barely, and even his native language of Lahu, he could not speak well, as he did not go to school, and came from a family involved with drugs—both of his parents were in prison when we took him in). But, after being part of our family for 6 years and going to various schools, and home-schooling during covid (including 2 years of Greek during that time), Isaiah is now fluent in Thai, and speaks English very well. But, understandably, going to a different country with a different accent, he said it was difficult to understand the Malawian accent. Anyway, it’s good to be flexible, and he did say he understood more towards the end of the two months. I believe he learned a lot in those two months and is now in his third and final year of Bible School here. Probably he will continue his Bible education for at least one more year in Thailand, or elsewhere after that.
